Teeez Cosmetics Review

Teeez Cosmetics Review

Hi Dolls ♡

Lately I’ve been doing a lot of skincare reviews so I was stoked to get a chance and collaborate with Teeez Cosmetics and test out their brand new Fashion Vendetta Makeup Collection.  I have never heard about Teeez Cosmetics so when I did a little research pre-writing my blog post, I found out that they are a European based brand and their products, or at least the collection I received, was all made in Italy.  This obviously screams luxe quality – yippie.  One thing that I just loved about Teeez is their packaging!  Their Fashion Vendetta Collection is all about being fun and edgy while making bold statements – ummm hello edgy skulls printed on their packaging…totally CHIC!

The “To Die For” eyeshadow quad in Cinnamon Revolution is probably my absolute favourite item in this collection.  The shadows are super pigmented and go on really well.  You can play around with the shades and go from a natural light/daytime look to a bronzed smokey night-time look in seconds – and because the palette is compact you can just toss it into your purse and bring it with you whenever.  This shadow quad palette comes in 5 other quad shades so you can check them out on their site.  They currently retail for about $42.00 USD.

My second favourite product from the collection is the Style Addict Highlighter.  I was never really a fan of cream-based highlighters because I felt that it was just a sticky mess and there was way too much shimmer going on.  The highlighter I received is in the shade “Berlin Sunrise” and I think it is the perfect shade to get that subtle glow – a very light sheer pearl-like shade. I actually prefer wearing this on a bare face or with very little makeup because it really brings out your facial features and it gives off just the right amount of a natural brightening effect so that it gives you a natural bright glow.  I also use this under and around my eyes when I’m not wearing makeup just to illuminate that area and get rid of any dark spots and works like a charm.  It also comes in 3 other shades and retails for about $28.00 USD.

The Serial Lip Stain in shade Faux Pas was unfortunately a liiiitttllleeee to dark for me.  I’m usually into dark nudes but this is more of like a dark fall brick color so I feel that it would look better on someone with darker hair since mine is very light. This is just my personal preference.  However, product wise the lip stain is great.  I really did like the texture and mattness of the liquid lipstick.  It is highly pigmented in color so you only really need to apply 1 coat.  It doesn’t make your lips feel sticky or dry which I appreciate because the last thing I need is another lip drying liquid lipstick.  The tube is compact so it fits perfectly in small clutches or bags.  The lip stain comes in a total of 7 other shades and retails for about $24.00 USD.

The Read My Lips Lipstick was more my speed in the shade DareDevil.  I absolutely love this shade, its a very deep orange blood red and perfect choice for a pop of colour to complete your fall look.  The texture is very smooth and creamy and leaves your lips with a slight satin matte finish.  This lipstick comes in 9 other shades and retails for about $24.00 USD.

Lastly we have the classic Material Girl Lipstick which is your traditional type lipstick in the shade Exclusive Rogue.  This shade is a very bring fun orange-red with a luminous finish.  The texture is very creamy and the color is very pigmented.  It leaves your lips hydrated at the same time giving a gorgeous pop of bright colour.  This lipstick comes in 9 other shades and retails for about $26.00 USD.

Overall I really enjoyed testing out this collection.  One thing I absolutely loved is that everything was almost “travel sized” so it was super easy to bring with me wherever I went for the perfect touchup.  Teeez Cosmetics is now launched in Canada and is available for purchase at Husdon’s Bay and online.
