TRESemmé Beauty-Full Volume Collection

TRESemmé Beauty-Full Volume Collection

Hey guys!

Let’s talk fabulous hair! Speaking of hair, mine has actually been growing so quickly that it became super long and unmanageable.  So like any other blogger would do, I decided to try a little DIY project and cut my own hair.  I mean I only took off about 3-4 inches and gave myself layers.  I was afraid that it would turn into a disaster but surprisingly it looks really good and i feel so much better.  I mean I just haven’t had the time to book an appointment at one of my salons so I took matters into my own hands.  This is just a temporary thing until my schedule clears up a bit and I have some free time to hit up the salon.

Moving on, a few months ago I received a package from TRESemmé for their new TRESemmé Beauty-Full Volume collection.  At first I was a bit skeptical about the idea of reversing my hair washing routine but I decided to give it a try anyway.  Now normally, I don’t use hair conditioner. I know, I know, what a sin considering I’m a beauty blogger and all but I find that my hair is very low maintenance and since I’ve never coloured it or chemically treated it, I can get away with just a really good shampoo.

So the first step is to wet your hair and apply the pre-conditioner.  The pre-conditioner has a bounce-friendly formulation, with Fleximax which gives your hair volume and binds to the cuticle to leave hair smooth and polished.  I love the feel of how silky soft and smooth my hair is right before I use the shampoo to wash it.  The pre-conditioner I lather in and leave on for about 2-3 minutes.  After that I rinse it out and proceed with the shampoo.  What I love about the shampoo is that it really helps control static and flyaways and preps your hair for styling however you like.  I really like that the shampoo didn’t strip the hydration and silkiness of the conditioner – which I initially thought it would.

Verdict: To be 100% honest, I was absolutely hooked by this after the first use.  I always thought TRESemmé was one of those cheap drugstore brands that nobody really used. Boy was I wrong.  I am almost certain that the TRESemmé conditioner and shampoo have left my hair more amazing than high-end labels like Bumble and Bumble (sorry guys).  Since then, I’ve stuck with TRESemmé and the reverse wash Beauty-Full Volume collection and I don’t plan on changing it anytime soon.  Overall, very impressed by the product and I highly recommend everyone to try it.

Are you guys fans of TRESemmé? What do you think of the new “reverse” washing routine? Leave your thoughts and comments down below!

Try this one! It’s by far my absolute favourite and forces me to use conditioner 😊

wait, you don’t use conditioner??? Doesn’t your hair feel all dry and tangled after? I could never LOL.
Having said that, I’ve been surprised by this system as well! I feel like my hair feels really silky and the frizz is minimized. Sometimes I reverse wash with other brands too, but this seems to work especially well.

I wish!!! For some reason my hair never gets dry! So if I use conditioner it’s super oily the next day! Same thing if I let my hair air dry over night it gets super oily so I always have to use a blow dryer! I was very surprised that the tresemme duo didn’t leave my hair oily. I guess it has a lot to do with the reverse system so I’m loving it!
