The official makeup brush sponsor for this year was Firma Beauty which I had the pleasure of testing out and reviewing backstage!  Their brushes are honestly to die for.  Firma Beauty has been around for about 12 years now and they have worked first hand with some of the best designers and makeup artists to date.  Their brushes are of utmost luxury!  Each brush takes about 6 weeks for production and they are 100% completely animal cruelty free.  Firma Beauty only uses first cut goat hair in their Signature line and some brushes are blended with synthetics too.  I am an avid animal lover so this topic is very near and dear to my heart.  I will support any business ESPECIALLY in beauty and fashion that truly demonstrates cruelty free business practices and products.
Firma brushes are made by artisans who have made brushes for generations in Kumano, Japan. The cut goat hair is washed, dried, combed, blended, shaped, washed, dried, assembled, and finally checked. A very complicated process that only the most skilled artisans succeed at.  When I got to try the brushes for myself I could really tell the difference and superior quality of the brushes.  I got a chance to talk to some of the skilled makeup artists backstage and they were in love with the brushes.  Blending foundations was pure bliss.  Firma Beauty currently carries 3 collections.  The “Signature Collection” can be seen below in my photos which are the all black brushes, the “Voyage Collection” are the black brushes with the pink tint on the hairs, and lastly their “Pink Collection” which are the brushes with pink handles.  Here are my following rankings of categories below for Firma Beauty Brushes:

Texture: 10/10
Price: 7.5/10
