Hello my beauties!
Lancôme has definitely been one of those luxurious brand that I have always read about in the latest fashion magazines and always heard about from other fellow bloggers and beauty gurus but just never tried myself. Most of the products that Lancôme sells tend to be more on the upscale price scale so I never really bothered to splurge on any products. One of the blessings of being a blogger is receiving products from brands you love. Last September (YES I know it’s been so long but to be honest I haven’t had the time to review it yet).
This was one of the newer products released by Lancôme last year and it is a youth activating serum that is specifically designed to give you smoother and younger looking skin in as little as 7 days. I’ve been using this product for about a month now and I’ve noticed that my skin has felt a lot smoother and it doesn’t look as dull, especially on those tiring days where I am clearly running on zero rest/sleep.
The texture is very smooth and liquidy. It is almost like a thicker water consistency but not gel. It glides on your face smoothly and dries pretty quick. I use it morning and nights and it is light enough to give you that smooth factor but doesn’t cake up beneath your makeup. I use bout 2-3 drops for my entire face and rub the serum in a circling upwards motion. This is to give your face more elasticity and make it more firm and youthful looking. It is excellent at diminishing fine lines and wrinkles. You can also add a drop into your foundation to give you that extra bit of Dewey glow but at the price it sells for I wouldn’t be pouring this into my foundation frequently.
This is basically a 7 days to a facelift in a bottle. I absolutely love this and I wouldn’t be opposed to purchasing this once I’m out even at a whopping $129/50ml or $218/3.38 oz. It is pricey but the way I see it is if you invest in your skincare then you will not only look younger but your skin will look and feel a lot healthier and you won’t need to spend a lot of money on prevention procedures etc.
Hope you guys enjoyed my review. Leave your thoughts and comments down below if you have tried this product or recommend something similar.
